Hatch tools

Deeper tools when you need them: egg weights, troubleshooting, brooder care, reports, and sensors.

Egg weight / moisture-loss curve

Track individual eggs or a representative sample. The curve is a planning tool, not a substitute for air-cell development and hatch observations.

No data

Weight history

Baseline is each egg's first recorded weight.

Structured troubleshooting

Select what you are actually seeing. Hatch Track combines that symptom with your own logged temperature, humidity, turning, candling, and timing data.

Hatch → brooder continuity

Completed hatches can become a brooder group automatically, carrying forward breed, hatch date, count, and notes.

Export center

Portable data plus a human-readable hatch report.

Shelly BLU H&T

Remote incubator telemetry using a Shelly BLU H&T inside the incubator and a BLU Gateway outside on Wi‑Fi.

BatteryWaiting for gateway
Backend readySign in to Hatch Track cloud, then create a sensor connection. No sensor reading is marked live until the gateway actually reports it.
Sensor calibration

Compare the sensor with a trusted reference, then save only the correction needed. Example: sensor reads 101.2°F while reference is 100.0°F → use -1.2°F.

Alert rules

These thresholds are evaluated when Hatch Track receives sensor or manual data.

Advanced: generic HTTPS sensor bridge

For other hardware that exposes JSON over HTTPS.

Example response{"temperature": 99.5, "humidity": 47}
The endpoint must allow browser access (CORS) and return JSON.

Timeline

Candling, lockdown, and estimated hatch milestones across every batch.

Milestones

Dates are exact when a set time is known; approximate otherwise.

Flock

Groups, counts, acquisition dates, and notes.

Flock records

Track existing groups and birds transferred from completed hatches.

Photos

Settings

Installation, notifications, data portability, and diagnostics.

Install Hatch Track

Run the workspace from your Home Screen with offline support.

On iPhone, install from Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. It will open full-screen like an app.
Notifications

Enable device notifications. Hatch Track 17 also includes alert rules and a Web Push receiver; always-on remote delivery is only considered active after a real push sender is configured.

Cloud sync

Signed out. Sign in to keep hatch, flock, candling, turning, outcome, and settings data synchronized across devices.

Full backup

Export batches, logs, flock records, and device-stored photos into one restorable file.

Restore

Import a Hatch Track JSON backup. Existing data is replaced only after validation.

Reliability & diagnostics

Built-in checks for local storage, photo database, service worker, network, and cloud state.

Hatch Track 18.0.3 · Schema 13
Auto-save · one-step undo · rolling recovery snapshots
Cloud: Supabase · Photos: private storage
Push receiver: ready · Remote sender: requires server/VAPID configuration
Interface depth

Keep Home simple while preserving all advanced tools and data.

Advanced stability charts and detail panels stay available by turning this off. No data or features are removed.
Cloud recovery history

Supabase now keeps the latest 25 synced state snapshots for your account in addition to device snapshots.

Privacy & data handling
Stored: hatch/flock records, account sync state, sensor data, and photos you choose to upload.
Photos: compressed before storage; recompression strips normal camera EXIF metadata such as GPS from the uploaded copy.
Offline: records can be saved locally and synced later.
Sensor history: detailed readings are retained for 90 days; hourly summaries are kept for long-term history.
Breed photos: third-party reusable images retain source/license attribution in the breed library.
What's new · 18.0.3

Mobile navigation now uses one consistent SVG icon set with uniform sizing, generic HTTPS sensor fields have permanent labels plus a JSON response example, UI spacing keeps dashboard and telemetry status text readable, candling uses whole-number and exact-total checks with full-batch confirmation for remaining-count overrides, and Wikimedia fallback failures use a cooldown circuit breaker on poor connections.

Delete account & cloud data

Permanently deletes your Hatch Track cloud account, synced records, sensor records, recovery history, and cloud photos. Device-local data is cleared after the server confirms deletion.

Breed photo library

Only real, reusable photographs with an explicit breed/species identity are used. Each selected image is cross-checked against additional hatchery, breed, or species references before it is mapped to a Hatch Track breed. Ambiguous breeds, hybrids, color strains, or weak matches stay neutral. Breed images now retry through a second Wikimedia delivery path and successful loads are cached by the installed app for better reliability.

Cloud sync is available. Sign in above to enable encrypted-in-transit account sync. Until you sign in, this device continues using local storage and full backups normally.
Incubation reference data follows university extension guidance: chicken 21 days / stop turning after day 18; standard duck and turkey 28 / 25; Muscovy about 35–37 / 31; Coturnix quail about 17 / 15; goose commonly 28–34 days. Temperature and humidity still depend on incubator design and measurement method.
